  1. Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard:
    • Open your web browser and navigate to your WordPress website’s login page, typically located at http://yourwebsite.com/wp-admin.
    • Enter your username and password to access the WordPress dashboard.
  2. Access the Page Editor:
    • After logging in, you will be taken to the WordPress dashboard. On the left-hand side, you will see a menu. Click on “Pages.”
  3. Add New Page:
    • Click on “Add New” to create a new page.
  4. Enter Page Title:
    • Give your page a title. This will be the main heading for your page.
  5. Add Content:
    • In the main content area below the title, you can use the visual editor to add and format your content. This editor is similar to word processing software and allows you to add text, images, links, and more.
  6. Format Your Content:
    • You can use the formatting options in the toolbar to style your text, create lists, add headings, and more.
  7. Add Media:
    • To add images or other media to your page, click the “Add Media” button, then upload or select the media you want to use.
  8. Set Featured Image (Optional):
    • You can set a featured image for your page by clicking the “Set featured image” link on the right-hand side. This image may be displayed in various places, depending on your website’s theme.
  9. Choose Page Attributes:
    • On the right-hand side, you’ll find the “Page Attributes” box. Here, you can choose a parent page (if your site uses a hierarchical structure) and assign a page template if your theme offers different templates.
  10. Publish or Save as Draft:
    • Once you’ve created your page content, you can either save it as a draft by clicking the “Save Draft” button or publish it immediately by clicking the “Publish” button.
  11. Preview Your Page:
    • Before publishing, you can click the “Preview” button to see how your page will look on your website.
  12. Publish or Update:
    • After previewing, if everything looks good, click the “Publish” button to make the page live on your website. If you make changes to an existing page, click “Update” to save those changes.
  13. View Your Page:
    • Click the “View Page” link that appears after publishing to see your new page on your website.
